Full Circle Cranes & Construction

Founded by Freddy Cleghorn, a seasoned crane operator and advanced rigger with over 20 years of experience, Full Circle Cranes was created with a simple purpose: to provide dependable, safe, and expert crane solutions backed by real industry knowledge.

Freddy’s career began in carpentry and high-end residential construction, completing his Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery in both New Zealand and Western Australia. It wasn’t long before he transitioned into the world of rigging, where his skills, work ethic, and attention to detail found their true calling. Over the years, Freddy has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, including BHP, Rio Tinto, FMG, Downer, Chevron, and Swiber Holdings, on major mining, oil and gas, and construction projects across Australia and abroad.

Shaped by Major Projects, Driven by Safety

His experience spans the full spectrum of crane operations, from smaller 20-ton Frannas to heavy-lift 300-ton crawlers. Freddy has been entrusted with complex shutdowns, critical dual lifts, heavy component movements, structural installations, and precision lifting of motors, pipework, scaffolding, screens, and more. He’s worked across a range of challenging environments, from remote FIFO mining sites to high-pressure gas facilities and urban construction zones.

Freddy’s extensive list of qualifications includes a High Risk Work Licence (CO, RA, CT, WP, LF), Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety, BOSIET, police clearance, and CSTP, among others. But it’s his approach to work that truly sets him apart — built on honesty, reliability, and treating others with respect. He’s a firm believer in showing up with the right attitude, doing the hard yards, and maintaining the highest safety standards in everything he does.

In 2022, Freddy launched Full Circle Cranes to bring all of that experience and passion under one banner. His goal is to offer clients not only technical expertise but also a level of service built on trust, communication, and real accountability. Whether it’s a one-day shutdown, a complex lift study, or an ongoing site presence, Freddy leads by example and takes pride in every job, big or small.
